Beaver Committee – LCFA

Please join us for our first meet-up as the Beaver Committee, a new group within the Larimer County Farmer’s Union.

Nick Hagan will present on how we can coexist with beaver, and the incredible ecosystem services these animals provide, even in an agroecology context for farms and ranches. We hope to embark on an educational journey over the next year, including some volunteer trips to learn about beaver dam analogs, hopefully in collaboration with other nonprofits.

Let’s share some fall food, potluck style. I will bring a mocktail to enjoy, and maybe a roasty soup. Stodgy’s private room near the bar has enough room for 15 folks, so please sign up to reserve your spot! Their beverage selections are great, including some GF and NA options.
