In partnership with Rocky Mountain Farmers Union and the Colorado Grain Chain, UCCS Grain School continues to foster and build a dynamic grain value chain in Colorado. Each year, UCCS Grain School enhances the knowledge and skills of those working in grain chains around the world.
Join us starting April 7th, at UCCS Grain School Online, co-hosted by the Colorado Grain Chain. All are welcome to join this course as we explore the world of grains in community. Content includes the grain value chain from seed to field to institution, highlighting UCCS’s Grain School Test Kitchen and Community Loaves. This course explores social justice, food security and sovereignty, tracing trade routes and histories of grains, with a preview into 2023’s UN Declared Year of Millets. You don’t want to miss this opportunity!
The course features Thursday live speakers, panels, discussions, and Q&A.
Scholarships for Colorado farmers and grain-focused businesses are available.
