“Choose your own adventure” community building hosted at Lee Martinez Park! Kiddos 5+ are invited to join in our day class 1-6 p.m. (Seeking high school age volunteers.) Adults are invited to join us for a transportation-provided Farm Hop 1-6 p.m. Families are welcome to share in our BBQ 6-8 p.m. Mains provided by LCFA. Kindly RSVP on the RMFU website at this link on or before Sunday, June 16th.
BYO water bottle and camp chair. Schedule as follows:
Noon: Kiddo Day Class volunteers arrive for prep and training by Jen
1 p.m.: Check-in for kiddos and their parents for all Day Class participants
1:15 p.m. All Farm Hop participants must check-in
1:30 p.m.: All Farm Hop participants depart in RMFU vehicle(s) to Folks Farm. Farms cannot accommodate personal vehicles. Travel must be with RMFU.
1:45 p.m.: Arrive at Folks Farm
2:45 p.m.: Depart Folks Farm
3:15 p.m.: Arrive at Well Fed Farmstead
4:15 p.m.: Depart Well Fed Farmstead
4:30 p.m. Arrive Belafonte Farm
5:30 p.m.: Depart Belafonte Farm
5:45 p.m.: Arrive back at Lee Martinez Park
6 p.m.: Kiddo Day Class is completed and parents may pick up their kids if they are not staying for the BBQ
6 p.m.: All LCFA family BBQ begins. Please feel free to bring a side dish to share!
