LCFA PolicyFest

At Policy Fest we will do a quick presentation about how members inform Rocky Mountain Farmers Union’s legislative advocacy through its Policy Handbook and have members who have attended RMFU’s Convention as delegates from our county share their experiences. Then, we’ll move into the most important part of the night – talking about problems you all are encountering in just trying to farm and ranch, and legislative initiatives you think will help fix those problems! We’ll have policy proposal forms for you all to fill out or bring home to think about before the conventions. There’s no need to necessarily come with policy proposals in mind; just come and share your experiences or listen to other members.

Before the event, please take a look at the RMFU Policy Handbook here. It has redline edits to it because your RMFU Policy Committee met two weeks ago to propose a first round of edits to be voted on at RMFU Convention in November.
