You are invited to the third annual Farmer Appreciation Dinner and Roaring Fork Farmers and Ranchers RMFU county convention!!!
When: October 16th, starting at 4:30 pm; dinner served around 5:30 pm. Roaring Fork Farmers and Ranchers officer and RMFU convention delegate elections at 6:30 pm, followed by dancing and fun until 8 pm.
Where: Cattle Creek Gardens: 1164 CR 113 Carbondale, CO 81623. Please carpool because parking is extremely limited.
Who: We are sending this to the managers(s)/leaders of all the production farms/ranches in the RFV as well as all recent local dues-paying members of RMFU. Please share this with your crews and help coordinate carpooling!
RSVP: Estimated RSVPs are due by October 11th at 3 pm to: tiffany@thefarmerandchef.com so that we make sure to have the right amount of food prepared. If you know you are coming before that, please let me know so we can start making the proper arrangements!
Cost: This event is free and made possible through generous donations from Farmer and Chef Catering, our hosts Molly and Travis, and farmers in our community, in addition to RFFR chapter funds and RMFU sponsorship. If you have the means and would like to contribute to the sustainability of this event year after year, please bring $5-10.
Attire: The event will take place in the beautiful outdoor space at Cattle Creek Gardens. It will be chilly. Please wear layers and maybe bring a lap blanket to stay warm.
What to bring: Reusable water bottle! We will have limited beer and wine to offer, but we encourage you to bring a six-pack of beer or a bottle of wine if you’d like! You are also invited to bring guitars or other instruments to jam by the fire.
Roaring Fork Farmers and Ranchers and RMFU Convention Delegate Elections:
We are combining this dinner with Roaring Fork Farmers and Ranchers County Convention. This is RFFR’s annual fall meeting where we elect our officers for the upcoming 2023-2024 term, and prepare for the upcoming RMFU Convention by selecting delegates from the chapter to attend and hearing from any prospective RMFU board members running for election at the upcoming RMFU Convention.
