Grocer Listening Session: RMFU Needs Your Feedback!

Last year at the RMFU Convention, our delegates passed a Special Order of Business opposing the merger of Kroger (King Soopers/City Market) and Albertsons (Safeway). This merger would do great harm to our food system, food service workers, and would impact food access within communities. RMFU has strongly advocated on this over the past year and our efforts are paying off. The Federal Trade Commission Chair, Lina Khan and Colorado’s Attorney General, Phil Weiser, will be in attendance at a public meeting in Denver this Wednesday, November 1^st at noon. It is essential for them to hear from producers as they evaluate the potential impacts of this merger.
