Mesalands Community College in Tucumcari, N.M., has a career opportunity in the rewarding field of renewable energy.
The North American Wind Research and Training Center is being developed to provide a utility scale wind turbine for research primarily focused on operation and maintenance issues. The research partners are New Mexico State University and Sandia National Laboratories. The center will also be one of the premiere locations for training wind energy technicians. The training will include both certificate and degree programs.
