What is Fellows?

Growing Leaders to Take Meaningful Action

RMFU’s Fellows program is a year-long, hybrid program that trains leaders to advocate for our nation’s family farms and ranches effectively. Comprised of four in-person weekends with remote trainings in between, Fellows will learn about the history of agriculture in the U.S., visit a variety of farms, ranches, and agricultural operations, and experience the process of creating and advocating for agricultural policy at both the state and federal levels and.  Ultimately, all Fellows will travel to Washington, D.C. for our Annual Farmers Union Fly-In to lobby on behalf of family farms and ranches.

All of this is free to Fellows, thanks to a partnership by the CHS Foundation.
