The annual National Farmers Union Women’s Conference happens every fall, each year in a different city.Any Rocky Mountain Farmers Union member is eligible to attend.

Members may register and pay on their own at any time. Additionally, RMFU will provides four scholarships annually available to current members.

Members interested in applying for a scholarship to attend should follow the instructions below. First-time conference attendees will be given preference in awards.

RMFU Scholarships

Eligibility:

Applicant must be a Rocky Mountain Farmers Union member in good standing
Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.

Applications:

Online applications must be submitted by October 10th, at 8:00 AM (MST).
Applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee and recipients will be announced by October 16th.
Applications must be completed by the person to whom the scholarship will be awarded.
RMFU reserves the right to print any portion of the winning applicant’s scholarship application and final conference review in written/electronic communications, including name and county

Selection:

RMFU will award up to 4 scholarships
Priority will be given to those who have not received a scholarship in the past
The committee will consist of RMFU Leadership and staff
The committee will review all eligible applications received and announcements will be made by October 16th.

Compensation & Follow-up:

The scholarship will cover the cost of the conference registration and a 2-night stay at the Hotel Valencia Riverwalk. (Double occupancy.)
The winner is responsible for arranging and providing their own transportation/booking flights
Awardees will provide a written overview of their experience by December 1st, which may be used in written/electronic communications
The awardee may be asked to give a short presentation at the state or county level about their experience
